Effective date: September 28, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how Idaho Wiki handles information when a person visits idaho.wiki. Idaho Wiki is a static informational website. It does not provide user accounts, public comments, purchases, newsletter registration, or a direct-contact form.
Information visitors provide
The published site does not ask visitors to submit names, email addresses, mailing addresses, payment details, or account credentials. Because there is no submission form or account system, Idaho Wiki does not intentionally collect those categories of personal information directly through the site.
The search field uses a bundled search index and JavaScript in the visitor’s browser. Search terms are used to display local results and are not submitted by the site to an Idaho Wiki database.
Technical and hosting data
When a browser requests a page, internet infrastructure must process routine technical information to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare and the site’s hosting services may process information such as an IP address, requested URL, date and time, browser or device headers, referring page, network diagnostics, and security signals. Those providers may maintain logs and use security tools under their own terms and privacy practices.
Idaho Wiki does not use the published site to build visitor profiles from this technical data. The site does not currently include first-party advertising, remarketing, social-media tracking pixels, or a separately configured audience-analytics service.
Cookies and similar technologies
Idaho Wiki does not currently use an account, preference, advertising, or analytics cookie system. Infrastructure providers may use cookies or similar technologies when needed for network security, abuse prevention, traffic management, or other operational purposes. Browser controls can be used to review, block, or remove cookies, although blocking essential security features may affect access.
External websites
Articles and resource pages link to government agencies, educational institutions, businesses, tourism resources, and other independent websites. Following an external link leaves Idaho Wiki. The destination site controls its own content, data collection, cookies, security, and privacy practices. This policy does not govern those websites.
Children’s privacy
Idaho Wiki is a general-audience reference and is not designed to solicit personal information from children. The site does not provide accounts, messaging, or forms through which a child is asked to submit personal information.
Security and retention
The site uses HTTPS and infrastructure security controls intended to protect delivery of its public pages. No method of internet transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure. Idaho Wiki does not maintain a visitor-account database. Any retention of routine network or security logs by infrastructure providers is governed by those providers’ systems and policies.
